Our Mission
Compassion for Community is a nonprofit organization dedicated to demonstrating tangible love and care by addressing the physical, mental, and spiritual needs within our community. Through outreach events, services, and long-term programs, we strive to provide compassionate leadership and be a consistent source of hope for those around us.
Who We Are
At Compassion for Community, we believe compassion should extend beyond meeting a need once. We intentionally structure our programs to serve individuals and families consistently—whether weekly, biweekly, monthly, or annually.
Consistency is one of our core values. We are committed to providing reliable, sustainable solutions for needs that continue to affect our community. Our initiatives include:
- As donations become available, we provide a food distribution that provides groceries and helps relieve financial pressure on individuals and families.
- An annual Back-to-School event that provides students with free school supplies, backpacks, and shoes.
- The weekly INSPIRE School Program, which partners with local schools to mentor students and support their emotional well-being, personal development, and future success.
As new needs arise, Compassion for Community will remain ready to listen, problem-solve, and respond with practical and dependable solutions. Our goal is to help people feel supported, valued, and hopeful—not only for a single moment, but throughout every season of life.
How We Operate
Compassion for Community is funded entirely through the generosity of local churches, businesses, organizations, and individual donors. Their support allows us to offer every outreach event, service, and program at no cost to the people we serve.
Together, we can relieve financial stress, strengthen individuals and families, and create a community where every person knows they are valued.
